Our carbon fiber tent stakes now have an aluminum point for better penetration and durability, and a nylon head for durable trouble free driving. These things really work, while the nylon head typically won‘t hold up to this, we‘ve driven them into frozen ground with a sledge hammer. We now offer them in two lengths, 6“and 9“, the 9“stakes hold very well in looser soils, sand, and packed snow, while the 6“stakes do very well in most other soils. These stakes are about the diameter of a Bic pen, this larger diameter allows them to hold better than those really thin skewer type stakes, and yet they don‘t weigh any more.
